Facilities Coordinator

About the role

MECCA is seeking a proactive Facilities Coordinator to support the maintenance of its store network across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be the first point of contact for store teams and contractors, ensuring both reactive and planned maintenance are handled efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate planned preventative maintenance programs and reactive maintenance requests across the store network.
• Manage maintenance tickets from initiation to closure, partnering with contractors, landlords, and shopping centres to meet service level agreements.
• Communicate maintenance activities and provide timely updates to store teams throughout the repair process.
• Maintain accurate facilities records, contractor reports, and maintenance data across relevant systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance contractor performance, maintenance processes, and overall store experience.

Required profile

• Organised, customer‑focused individual who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience in facilities, retail operations, customer service, or a similar operational support role.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities, comfortable working with internal teams and external contractors.
• High attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to work autonomously while maintaining confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with maintenance management systems or service ticket platforms (e.g., Jira).
