Retail Field Trainer

About the role

Based at Cullen's Melbourne headquarters, the Retail Field Trainer delivers on‑site training across Australia and New Zealand, turning new starters into confident, high‑performing team members and supporting existing staff to continuously improve.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and adapt structured onboarding for retail new starters across the region.
• Build and own the onboarding framework and training documentation for every showroom.
• Develop curricula for each retail level and run group and one‑on‑one training.
• Shadow live client appointments, provide structured feedback and coach in the moment.
• Lead training for new showroom openings and provide extra on‑ground support when needed.
• Partner with Showroom Managers and Regional Executives to identify training needs from performance data.
• Maintain a current knowledge base so all showrooms use the same playbook.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering training or onboarding, preferably in a retail leadership role.
• Retail floor experience, ideally in luxury, jewellery or appointment‑based consultative sales.
• Self‑starter with strong organisational skills and ability to adapt priorities.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the Southern region and work occasional weekend days.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or similar qualification is highly regarded.
