Retail Assistant – Luxury Optical (OPSM)

About the role

Join the OPSM team in Bundaberg as a Retail Assistant, helping customers experience high‑fashion eyewear from luxury brands such as Chanel, Gucci, Ray‑Ban and Oakley. You will guide clients through consultations, frame selection and the fitting process, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable journey.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, conduct initial eye‑health consultations and pre‑testing.
• Assist clients in selecting and customizing frames from premium brands.
• Provide product knowledge on lenses, coatings and accessories.
• Maintain store presentation, stock levels and visual merchandising standards.
• Process sales transactions and manage customer records accurately.

Required profile

• Previous retail experience, preferably in an optical or fashion environment (not mandatory).
• Strong communication skills and a passion for helping people see clearly.
• Enthusiasm for luxury brands and high‑quality customer service.
• Quick learner with a positive, team‑oriented attitude.
