Sales Development Representative

About the role

As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll be an important part of the Bishopp sales team. You’ll work closely with your manager and experienced Account Executives, giving you the support and opportunity to develop your sales skills and grow your career.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities through door knocking, phone calls, face‑to‑face visits, networking and other relationship‑building activities.
• Connect with businesses and develop genuine relationships with potential customers.
• Meet with businesses to understand their needs and identify opportunities where Bishopp can help.
• Manage your own leads, calendar and day‑to‑day activities.
• Work with the broader sales team to build opportunities and learn the media sales process.
• Stay up to date with the media industry and the markets we operate in.

Required profile

• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good organisation and the ability to manage your own time.
• A willingness to pick up the phone, meet new people and try new things.
• A valid Australian driver’s licence and ability to travel across the region.
