Restaurant Manager

About the role

El Jannah is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead one of its iconic Australian locations. This hands‑on leadership role is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience, maintaining food quality and safety, and achieving commercial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations, championing a guest‑first culture and high service standards.
• Build, lead and develop a high‑performing management and team member group.
• Ensure food quality, cleanliness, food safety and WHS compliance.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, rostering and performance management.
• Manage labour, payroll, operational administration and inventory.
• Monitor sales, costs and profitability, delivering against business targets.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and proactively.
• Develop strong connections within the local community.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager in QSR or fast‑paced hospitality.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, inspire and develop large teams.
• Performance‑driven with strong commercial acumen (labour, cost, inventory).
• Sound knowledge of food safety, WHS and compliance requirements.
• Calm, confident leadership style and ability to lead under pressure.
• Strong communication, organisation and decision‑making skills.
• Passion for food, people and guest experience.
• Availability to work flexible rosters, including evenings and weekends.
