Restaurant Manager – Award‑Winning North Sydney Venue

About the role

Applejack Hospitality is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations at RAFI, an award‑winning, hatted foodie destination in North Sydney. You will be the primary point of contact for guests and staff, ensuring a high‑quality dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all restaurant operations, including service, kitchen coordination, and front‑of‑house management.
• Maintain guest satisfaction by handling client relations and addressing any issues promptly.
• Drive financial performance through cost control, budgeting, and achieving KPIs.
• Motivate and develop a small team, scheduling staff and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of management experience in a busy restaurant environment.
• Passionate about food and wine with strong knowledge of local produce and beverage offerings.
• Excellent communication skills, outgoing and energetic when interacting with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to work under pressure and keep the team motivated.

Required skills

• Sound financial and business acumen.
• Flexibility with roster scheduling.
