Restaurant & Bar Manager - Full Time

About the role

Holiday Inn Perth City Centre is looking for a full-time Restaurant & Bar Manager to lead its recently renovated and relaunched restaurant and bar, Ivy & Jack, and to oversee the hotel's Room Service offering. Ivy & Jack serves hotel guests, city locals and corporate clients using the hotel's conference spaces, open from breakfast through dinner seven days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant/bar and room service teams, including preparing and overseeing department rosters
• Ensure the hotel's key metrics are met and exceeded through engagement initiatives that drive revenue, guest love targets, efficiency and guest satisfaction
• Train, mentor and motivate colleagues to deliver exceptional service and uphold brand standards
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance the guest experience
• Support recruitment and onboarding of team members
• Work with the finance team to set, monitor and realign departmental budgets, including managing payroll costs
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, responsible service and HACCP requirements
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally in line with service recovery guidelines

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience as a Restaurant & Bar Manager
• Availability across a 7-day rotating roster (mornings, evenings, weekends, public holidays)
• Legal right to work in Australia
• Current Approved Managers Certification, RSA and Food Safety Certificate
• National police clearance within 6 months
