Reservations Consultant – Guest Services

About the role

We are looking for a Reservations Consultant to join Sailaway’s team in Port Douglas on a casual basis. In this role you will be the first point of contact for guests booking our reef sailing tours, ensuring a smooth and memorable booking experience.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest enquiries via phone, email and chat, providing detailed information about Sailaway tours and services.
• Process bookings, manage reservation records and maintain accurate guest manifests.
• Liaise with local booking agents and wholesalers to coordinate sales and availability.
• Prepare and update provisioning orders and vessel requirements based on confirmed bookings.
• Promote and upsell additional Sailaway products and experiences.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple bookings and details simultaneously.
• Friendly, professional demeanor when interacting with guests and partners.

Required skills

• Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets).
