Reservations Agent

About the role

Novotel & ibis Sydney Darling Harbour, a property of the Accor Group, is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Reservations Agent to join its professional and welcoming Reservations team. The hotel sits in the heart of Darling Harbour and offers career development and the chance to move between Accor brands.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to phone calls, emails and messages from customers about reservations and inquiries.
• Help customers choose suitable options according to their needs and preferences.
• Enter and update reservation details accurately in the system.
• Tell guests about available services, promotions and special offers.
• Modify or cancel reservations as needed, keeping customers satisfied.
• Work with other departments such as sales and the front desk to meet customer needs.
• Handle complaints and resolve issues professionally and courteously.
• Keep records of customer interactions and bookings organised and up to date.

Required profile

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• A passion for hospitality and helping people.
• Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• A positive, problem-solving, guest-first attitude.

Required skills

• Experience with reservation systems (training provided).
