Reservations Agent – Full Time

About the role

As a Reservations Agent you will be one of the first points of contact for guests, creating a warm and personalised booking experience while identifying opportunities to enhance the stay and maximise revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Manage incoming reservation enquiries via phone and email, providing professional and personalised service.
• Accurately create and maintain reservations and guest profiles in Opera Cloud, including preferences and special requests.
• Monitor the hotel’s general inbox, route enquiries to appropriate departments and ensure follow‑through.
• Communicate guest requests across departments to ensure a seamless journey.
• Support Front Office, Sales and other teams by identifying and sharing sales leads.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hotel reservations, front office or a similar guest‑facing role, preferably in a luxury or premium hotel.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Full working rights in Australia and flexibility to work a rotating roster, including Saturdays and public holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera Cloud or a similar property management system.
• Good computer literacy and ability to quickly learn hotel rates, packages and promotions.
