Rental Operations Assistant

About the role

A well-established and growing equipment rental business is looking for a Rental Operations Assistant to support its Ingleburn branch, Monday to Friday. The role keeps rental equipment maintained and ready for hire while helping with day-to-day branch operations. It is a casual position advertised by WorkPac.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out 10-point safety checks on vehicles and equipment (oil, water, lights, tyres, etc.).
• Monitor and report vehicle defects and servicing requirements.
• Perform minor non-mechanical repairs on rental assets.
• Assist with manual tasks such as lifting and operating trailer gates.
• Support the team with branch administration and operational tasks.
• Keep rental equipment clean, safe and ready for customers.

Required profile

• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to identify and report asset defects or servicing needs.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills for reporting and administration.
