Casual Cleaner – Point Cook

About the role

Downer has won a long-term Integrated Facilities Management contract with Stockland covering commercial offices, retail centres, logistics facilities and land lease communities. It is looking for casual cleaners to support the management of properties at Point Cook Town Centre, reporting to the Facilities Manager. Two casual rosters are available: Roster 1 (Monday, Thursday and Sunday 15:30–23:36) and Roster 2 (Friday to Sunday 23:00–7:06 am).

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise floors, surfaces, restrooms and common areas
• Clean high-touch areas and replenish supplies as needed
• Empty bins and dispose of waste according to safety guidelines
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and report maintenance issues
• Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a professional approach

Required profile

• Previous experience in cleaning roles in commercial, residential or similar environments
• Understanding of workplace health and safety and basic sanitation practices
• Good time management, ability to work independently and follow procedures
• Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain it; willingness to undergo pre-employment checks including a National Police Check and medical

Required skills

• Safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
• Use of polishers, scrubbers and buffers highly desirable
