Renewals Account Manager

About the role

The Renewals Account Manager will own a portfolio of software subscription renewals for Small and Medium Business (SMB) and Mid‑Market customers. You will engage customers before contract expiry, drive retention, recover lapsed accounts and grow recurring revenue through a consultative sales approach.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage a portfolio of SMB and Mid‑Market software subscription renewals.
• Proactively contact customers ahead of expiry to understand licensing needs and present renewal options.
• Execute on‑time renewals while maximizing retention and revenue.
• Identify and pursue win‑back opportunities with churned or lapsed customers.
• Develop tailored win‑back strategies, including commercial offers and value‑based messaging.
• Negotiate commercial terms within approved pricing and discount guidelines.
• Collaborate with Account Executives, Customer Success, Support and Finance to protect recurring revenue and improve forecasting accuracy.

Required profile

• Commercially minded and customer‑focused.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
• Strong consultative sales approach and relationship‑building skills.
• Experience in SaaS subscription renewals or similar revenue‑retention roles.
