Remedial Building Engineer – Facade Engineering

About the role

Elite Australian Engineering is seeking a Remedial Building Engineer to lead façade assessments and remediation projects across New South Wales. This full‑time position combines hands‑on engineering, project management, and client interaction to resolve building defects efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve building defects, focusing on façade performance.
• Conduct detailed assessments of building facades and waterproofing systems.
• Develop and deliver remediation solutions that comply with Australian Standards and the Building Code.
• Manage projects from concept through to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and senior engineers to maintain clear communication.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering (civil, structural, or related discipline).
• 2–3+ years of experience in building remediation, façade engineering, or related fields.
• Proven ability to assess, diagnose, and resolve façade issues.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and the Building Code.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Australian citizen or permanent resident.
• Valid New South Wales driver’s licence with a fully insured vehicle.
• White Card (WH&S Induction Training for Construction Work).
