Reliability and Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Reliability and Maintenance Technician ensures safe, reliable, and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facility systems in a highly regulated medical environment. This hands‑on role blends preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance with a focus on compliance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic issues.
• Conduct equipment inspections and condition‑monitoring activities to prevent failures.
• Support reliability initiatives through root‑cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Complete work orders and maintain detailed maintenance and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Operations to improve equipment reliability.
• Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, upgrades, and validation.

Required profile

• Certificate, Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance or related field.
• Experience in maintenance within a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device, pharmaceutical, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, manuals and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to work within quality and compliance frameworks and adhere to WHS requirements.
