Relationship Manager

About the role

The Relationship Manager will build and deepen relationships with a portfolio of aggregators and brokers, driving business growth in line with ANZ's Retail Broker strategy. This full‑time, permanent position is based in Melbourne and focuses on face‑to‑face engagement, portfolio expansion and risk‑aware sales execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of each broker’s business, objectives and growth opportunities.
• Promote ANZ Retail Broker services through targeted face‑to‑face meetings and events.
• Analyse portfolio data to generate insights and shape sales strategies at both portfolio and individual broker levels.
• Monitor and manage broker portfolio KPIs, identifying areas for growth and quality improvement.
• Deliver education and training programmes to brokers and aggregator groups in line with channel standards.
• Collaborate with internal partners such as Private Banking, Corporate and Commercial teams to expand share of wallet.
• Work closely with Business Support Managers to support loan application pipelines and ensure positive customer experiences.

Required profile

• Proven experience in relationship management within a banking or financial services environment.
• Track record of achieving sales targets and growing a portfolio of broker or aggregator clients.
• Strong understanding of risk management principles and ability to balance growth with sound risk practices.
• Excellent face‑to‑face communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
