Strategy & Innovation Manager

About the role

As a Senior Analyst in the Business & Private Bank Strategy team, you will help shape the division’s future direction and support key business decisions. You will work across a wide range of priorities, turning customer, market and business insights into clear recommendations that drive long‑term success.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake strategic analysis and research across customers, competitors, markets, financial performance and business performance.
• Structure business questions, develop hypotheses and translate findings into clear recommendations.
• Develop and assess commercial analysis, opportunity sizing, business cases and scenarios.
• Gather and synthesise information and perspectives from stakeholders across the business.
• Prepare evidence‑based papers and presentations for senior audiences.
• Contribute to strategy projects from initial research through to recommendation.
• Identify opportunities to improve team ways of working and support a collaborative environment.

Required profile

• Experience in strategy, consulting, corporate development, banking or a related analytical role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear materials for senior audiences.
• Ability to structure problems and synthesise complex information into actionable insights.
• Strong analytical capability and sound commercial judgement.
• Experience with financial analysis, business cases, scenarios or other quantitative work.
• Proven ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders across the business.
• Capacity to manage changing priorities, work with incomplete information and maintain attention to detail.
