Relationship Account Manager – Fleet Management

About the role

Toyota Finance Australia (TFA), the country's largest automotive financier, is looking for a driven, customer-focused Relationship Account Manager to join its Toyota Fleet Management team. The role builds, nurtures and grows strategic customer relationships, driving business growth, customer retention and long-term profitability through Customer Value Plans. It is based at Grosvenor Place, Sydney, and is a permanent full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of customers, increasing penetration across the Toyota family and value chain
• Drive customer retention, business expansion and upsell opportunities across fleet management and mobility solutions, including KINTO
• Achieve sales and performance targets across settlements, margins, fee income and other key measures
• Develop and maintain strategic Customer Value Plans to identify growth opportunities and strengthen partnerships
• Analyse fleet portfolio data to recommend tailored solutions
• Build relationships with customers, dealers, suppliers and OneToyota partners
• Hold customer meetings, business reviews and presentations
• Manage portfolio risk and ensure compliance on credit, arrears, residual values and acceptable goods requirements

Required profile

• Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills, able to lead customer meetings and business reviews
• Consultative, commercially minded approach with strong questioning skills
• Excellent organisation and time management, able to work autonomously
• Proactive, self-motivated and passionate about lasting customer relationships
• Experience or knowledge of the fleet management, finance and/or automotive industry is highly regarded
