Rehabilitation Consultant – Social Work & Psychology

About the role

We are seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant to deliver workplace injury prevention and rehabilitation solutions, helping individuals and organisations achieve sustainable return‑to‑work outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Use specialist knowledge to support people returning to meaningful employment.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver services across the employee lifecycle.
• Evaluate rehabilitation needs of workers with work‑related or non‑work‑related injuries.
• Conduct assessments such as functional capacity, ergonomic and daily‑living evaluations.
• Manage case plans, coordinate services and monitor progress toward return‑to‑work goals.
• Engage stakeholders and build partnerships that drive successful outcomes.

Required profile

• Professional registration with AASW, ASORC (full membership) or AHPRA (provisional acceptable).
• Tertiary qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work or Psychology.
• Current Working with Children Check and willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check.
• Compassionate, client‑focused attitude with ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Adaptability to a variety of client needs and enthusiasm for ongoing learning.
