Rehabilitation Consultant – Psychologist, Counsellor or Social Worker

About the role

Join IPAR’s Perth team as a Rehabilitation Consultant, providing tailored occupational rehabilitation services to clients recovering from workplace injury or illness. You will work within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment, guiding clients back to health, work and daily life.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clients with physical and psychological conditions, supported by Rehabilitation Assistants.
• Partner with employers and employees to develop injury‑prevention and workplace education programs.
• Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals across workers compensation, third‑party, life insurance, Comcare, veteran affairs and employer‑funded schemes.
• Prepare timely, high‑quality reports outlining findings, recommendations and clinical reasoning.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling or Social Work.
• Provisional or full professional registration and relevant professional membership (ASORC or ASSW).
• Excellent communication, empathy and strong time‑management skills.
• Current valid driver’s licence and access to a fully insured vehicle.

Required skills

• Case management and client liaison.
• Report writing and clinical documentation.
