Rehabilitation Consultant (Physiotherapist, OT, Exercise Physiologist, Osteopath)

About the role

Konekt, part of the APM Group, is looking for a Rehabilitation Consultant in Townsville to deliver workplace injury prevention and rehabilitation solutions. The consultant helps people return to meaningful employment and supports organisations in achieving sustainable return-to-work goals, working within a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate the treatment and rehabilitation needs of workers injured or ill at work or outside work
• Perform assessments in your area of clinical expertise, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic and daily living assessments
• Support clients in identifying future employment or training options
• Provide case management to plan, coordinate and monitor progress toward return-to-work goals
• Deliver services and advice to a variety of industries across the employee lifecycle
• Engage with key stakeholders and build partnerships

Required profile

• Professional registration with AHPRA or ESSA as an EPT
• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy or Physiotherapy
• Current Working with Children Check
• Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check after a successful application
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with compassion and a focus on client care
