Intensive Care Consultant - Major Tertiary Hospital, North Queensland

About the role

Sante Recruitment is seeking an experienced Intensive Care Consultant for a major, expanding tertiary hospital in North Queensland on a permanent full-time basis. The role sits within a large, progressive Intensive Care service in a regional referral centre, offering broad clinical exposure, professional development, leadership opportunities and a tropical lifestyle.

Required profile

• Registered with AHPRA with at least 12 months' recent experience
• Currently undertaking the CICM training program
• Eligible for the Competent Authority pathway (UK, Ireland, Canada, USA or New Zealand)
• An IMG with a CICM interview date, assessed as substantially comparable
• Appropriate eligibility for Australian medical registration

The service welcomes appropriately qualified International Medical Graduates and considers CICM pathway applicants, including UK, Irish, Canadian, US and New Zealand-trained doctors.
