Rehabilitation Consultant – OHS Essentials

About the role

Join WorkFocus, part of MedHealth, as a Rehabilitation Consultant – OHS Essentials in Melbourne. You will deliver workplace rehabilitation services, helping injured employees return to work and achieve their health goals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers and develop strategies to overcome them.
• Conduct worksite, functional and OHS assessments.
• Liaise with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve mutually appropriate outcomes.
• Design, implement and monitor programs that support injured employees in returning to the workforce.

Required profile

• Australian recognised degree and full accreditation in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy or Chiropractic.
• Knowledge of OHS; Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel with a current vehicle and driver’s licence.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
