Rehabilitation Consultant - Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist/AEP

About the role

Konekt is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant to deliver workplace injury prevention and rehabilitation solutions across Tamworth and North West NSW. You will use your clinical expertise to help injured workers return to meaningful employment while supporting organisations in achieving sustainable return‑to‑work outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate treatment or rehabilitation needs of workers with work‑related or non‑work‑related injuries or illnesses.
• Conduct functional capacity evaluations, ergonomic assessments, worksite and daily living assessments within your clinical scope.
• Develop and manage case plans, coordinating services and monitoring progress toward return‑to‑work goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary allied‑health team and engage key stakeholders to build strong partnerships.
• Identify future employment or training options for clients and provide advice throughout the employee lifecycle.

Required profile

• Professional registration with AHPRA or ESSA as an EP.
• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy.
• Current Working with Children Check and willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check.
• Demonstrated compassion, client‑centred focus, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
