Registered Senior Architect – Retail & Mixed‑Use

About the role

A recognised architectural practice is seeking an experienced, registered architect to lead retail and mixed‑use projects in its Perth studio. The role involves full‑cycle design responsibility, from concept through construction, within a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural projects across retail and mixed‑use sectors, managing all stages from concept to construction.
• Coordinate consultants, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and ensure high‑quality documentation and technical resolution.
• Maintain compliance with the BCA, Australian Standards and local council requirements.
• Support project financial performance, resourcing and delivery programmes.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and design development for project teams.

Required profile

• Australian architectural registration (WA preferred) with 8‑15 years of experience in the Australian/WA market.
• Strong knowledge of BCA, Australian Standards and local authority requirements.
• Demonstrated experience leading small project teams and managing client relationships.
• Collaborative leadership style and passion for high‑quality design outcomes.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Revit.
• Experience with Enscape and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Working knowledge of Rhino and Grasshopper (beneficial).
