Registered Nurse - Respiratory

About the role

Sydney Local Health District is recruiting a Registered Nurse for the Respiratory position at Concord Repatriation General Hospital, which has cared for the veteran community for more than 70 years and now provides specialist and general health services to Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and surrounding areas. The nurse provides patient-centred, evidence-informed care and works with individuals and the multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.

The position is open to permanent full-time (38 hours per week) and permanent part-time (minimum 24 hours per week) arrangements. Pay is $41.22 to $57.88 per hour plus superannuation.

Required profile

• Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Demonstrated understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking.
• Full availability to work a 7-day rotating roster (am, pm and nights).
• Acute care experience preferred.
• Full working rights within Australia.
