Registered Nurse - General Rehabilitation

About the role

Sydney Local Health District is recruiting a Registered Nurse for General Rehabilitation at Concord Repatriation General Hospital, which has cared for the veteran community for more than 70 years and now provides specialist and general health services to Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and surrounding areas. The position is permanent full time, 38 hours per week, with a salary of $81,748 to $114,771 per year plus superannuation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patient recovery through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualised nursing care.
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
• Support patients in setting and achieving realistic functional, physical and cognitive recovery goals.

Required profile

• Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• A minimum of 1 year of full-time registered nurse, post-graduate employment experience.
• Full availability to work a 7-day rotating roster.
• Full working rights within Australia.
• Evidence of vaccination against specified infectious diseases, as required for NSW Health Category A positions.
