Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular

About the role

Sydney Local Health District is recruiting a Registered Nurse in Cardiovascular at Concord Repatriation General Hospital, which has cared for the Veteran community for over 70 years and now serves Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and surrounding communities. The position is open to permanent full-time (38 hours per week) and permanent part-time (minimum 32 hours per week, at least 4 shifts per week) nurses.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective nursing care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Attend to patient wound care
• Manage the cardiac monitoring system
• Support patients before and after cardiology procedures and vascular surgeries
• Support patients and their families throughout their healthcare journey

Required profile

• Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
• At least 12 months of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Cardiology and vascular experience is ideal
• Full availability for 24/7 rotating shifts, weekends and nights
• Full working rights in Australia
