Registered Nurse - Radiology Liaison

About the role

Albury Wodonga Health, the largest regional health service between Sydney and Melbourne, is recruiting a Registered Nurse for radiology liaison work. The nurse is a valued member of the medical imaging team, providing clinical supervision, patient coordination and clinical support to the radiology team for in-patients and emergency patients undergoing imaging. The position is permanent and full-time, with a job share arrangement considered.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate patient movements in a busy medical imaging unit
• Provide clinical supervision, patient coordination and clinical support to the radiology team
• Support in-patients and emergency patients undergoing imaging
• Rapidly assess patients and escalate appropriately
• Independently detect and escalate patient deterioration

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to coordinate patient movements in a busy medical imaging unit
• Able to independently detect and escalate patient deterioration
• Minimum 5 years of post-registration experience
• Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
• Commitment to professional development

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work as a team member in a multidisciplinary environment
