Registered Nurse - Palliative Care Centre

About the role

Sydney Local Health District is recruiting Registered Nurses for the Palliative Care team at Concord Centre for Palliative Care (CCPC), a purpose-built facility at Concord Repatriation General Hospital that provides clinical and supportive care to patients at end of life or needing respite. The role suits suitably experienced nurses and is open to both full-time (38 hours per week) and part-time (minimum 16 hours per week) positions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient-centred, evidence-informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team

Required profile

• Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
• Demonstrated understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking
• Hospital-based nursing experience in Australia
• Full availability to work a 7-day rotating roster
• Full working rights within Australia
