Registered Nurse - Night Duty and Casual

About the role

Aegis Aged Care is looking for a Registered Nurse with aged care experience to join its Greenfields team in Mandurah. The position offers night duty and casual shifts, with a competitive rate of pay and ongoing training and development opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake clinical, social and self-care assessments, anticipating residents' changing health needs and initiating further assessments or referrals.
• Support residents and their families by addressing their queries, comments, suggestions and concerns.
• Ensure care documentation is completed with the appropriate strategies implemented.
• Identify and manage clinical risk in the aged care setting.
• Support, coach, monitor and mentor unregulated care workers, and provide clinical expertise to the care team and the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Clinical experience and ability to manage risk in aged care.
• Sound understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and quality management systems.
• Full Australian working rights and ability to pass a national police clearance.
• Empathetic, committed to aged care, and able to lead, coach, develop and mentor care and lifestyle staff.
