Registered Nurse - Macarthur

About the role

IRT Group, a community-owned provider of aged care and home care, is looking for a Registered Nurse for its Residential Care Home in Macarthur. This is a part-time position for a clinician who wants to use their skills caring for residents' health and quality of life. Night shifts are available on Monday and Tuesday, and a Saturday morning shift every second week.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to residents
• Manage and supervise care workers
• Undertake client assessments
• Monitor clients' care needs and evaluate care plans
• Provide treatment as required

Required profile

• Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration
• Experience working as a Registered Nurse in a residential care home
• Night shift availability and experience in an aged care setting
• Knowledge of clinical issues of ageing, including dementia-related disorders and management of challenging behaviours
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
