Registered Nurse

About the role

The South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) is recruiting a Registered Nurse for a permanent or fixed-term position, with the possibility of extensions and/or permanency. There are 3.28 full-time equivalents available across the position. The nurse works within a multidisciplinary team, providing comprehensive evidence-based nursing care to patients and promoting patient safety and quality of care, within the scope of practice set out in the Nursing and Midwifery Board's Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart.

Required profile

• Valid Australian work rights; permanent appointments may be made to citizens, permanent residents or visa holders.
• Applicants must meet the Essential and Desirable criteria in the attached Job Description Form, and demonstrate the suitability criteria (behaviours, alignment with values and ethical standards).
• Criminal records screening and integrity checking are required, and a working with children check is needed for this vacancy.
