Senior Project Officer - Healthcare Redesign

About the role

The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) is seeking a Senior Project Officer to lead and deliver strategic healthcare redesign and reform initiatives that improve service delivery, patient flow and organisational performance. The appointment is permanent part-time at 0.1 FTE (8 hours per fortnight) in Perth, Western Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret complex health data, develop business cases and project plans, and monitor project outcomes
• Deliver high-quality reporting to support strategic decision-making
• Build and maintain relationships with clinical and industry stakeholders, and facilitate consultation and collaboration
• Share project outcomes, lessons learned and best practices across the health sector

Required profile

• Valid Australian work rights; sponsorship is not available
• Applicants must pass a criminal records screening and integrity check, and possibly a working with children check and pre-employment health assessment
• Written application covering the selection criteria (no more than 3 pages), a short statement on suitability, and a resume
• Specifically outline skills and experience related to medical imaging, and knowledge of surgical operations and terminology in a tertiary acute hospital setting
