Urgent Care Nurse - Midland Clinic

About the role

St John Health, part of St John WA, is recruiting a skilled Urgent Care Nurse for its Midland clinic. The nurse provides supportive, patient-focused clinical care in a primary health care setting, working closely with the Urgent Care Doctor to treat a range of illnesses and injuries in a busy, fast-paced environment. The roster alternates between two weeks, covering evenings, weekends and Sundays.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a high-quality experience to patients attending with urgent medical needs
• Work closely with the Urgent Care Doctor to treat a range of illnesses and injuries

Required profile

• AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with no restrictions
• Emergency Department experience (essential)
• Triage experience (essential)
• Current CPR certificate or ALS certificate
• Police clearance issued within 3 months

Required skills

• Casting and cannulation (advantageous; training provided)
• Familiarity with Best Practice software (highly regarded)
