About the role

Join Muswellbrook Hospital as a Registered Nurse and start on the General Ward, delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care. You will have the opportunity to rotate into specialty areas such as Emergency, Peri‑operative Services, Renal and the Infusion Unit with structured education and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence‑based nursing care to medical and surgical patients on the General Ward.
• Participate in a flexible rotating roster covering Emergency Department triage, resuscitation and acute care (Year 2 RN minimum).
• Assist in peri‑operative services including theatre, anaesthetics, PACU and day surgery.
• Deliver haemodialysis day services on the Renal Unit.
• Administer specialised therapies such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products and iron infusions in the Infusion Unit.

What we offer

• Salary range $81,748.17 – $114,771.98 per year plus superannuation and salary packaging.
• Up to $10,000 incentive in the first 12 months and $5,000 annually thereafter via the Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
