Registered Nurse – Fixed-Term Aged Care (Weekend Shifts)

About the role

Join a passionate, not‑for‑profit aged‑care team delivering high‑quality care to residents. This fixed‑term position runs from 13 June 2026 to 7 August 2027 and involves weekend shifts (14:30‑22:30). You will lead and support Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Assistants while upholding the values of collaboration, accountability, respect and empathy.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and mentor ENs and PCAs to ensure safe, person‑centred care.
• Deliver nursing care aligned with the organisation’s core values.
• Maintain accurate digital health records and communicate updates to the care team.
• Monitor and respond to residents’ physical, social and emotional needs.
• Manage time effectively during busy weekend shifts.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Demonstrated empathy, strong communication and natural leadership.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a collaborative approach.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and whole‑person care.
• Excellent time‑management and organisational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital health record systems.
• Basic computer literacy and confidence using communication tools.
