About the role
The Royal Children’s Hospital is seeking Registered Nurses for its Kookaburra Cancer Care Ward. This permanent position can be full‑time or part‑time (64‑80 hours per fortnight) and offers the chance to develop paediatric oncology expertise in a world‑class paediatric centre.
Key responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective nursing care to children receiving oncology treatment, including chemotherapy and bone‑marrow transplantation.
- Participate in quality‑improvement activities and multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance patient outcomes.
Required profile
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Recent acute nursing experience; oncology experience is highly desirable.
Required skills
- Paediatric oncology nursing knowledge.
- Chemotherapy administration and accreditation processes.
