Regional Superintendent / Construction Manager

About the role

Durack Civil is seeking an experienced Regional Superintendent / Construction Manager to lead multiple civil construction projects across Queensland. This senior, hands‑on position reports to senior management and focuses on safe, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery while mentoring site supervisors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support Supervisors across several civil infrastructure and subdivision projects.
• Drive project performance, productivity and programme achievement.
• Ensure safety, quality and environmental standards are met on all sites.
• Coordinate labour, plant and resources across the project portfolio.
• Monitor progress, identify risks early and implement corrective actions.
• Provide mentoring and leadership to site teams.
• Support construction planning and project start‑up activities.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers to meet project objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Extensive experience delivering civil infrastructure or subdivision projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Solid understanding of construction methodology and sequencing.
• Experience managing Supervisors and site‑based teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Practical, solutions‑focused approach to project delivery.
