Regional Finance Manager (NSW)

About the role

Volvo Financial Services (VFS), the captive finance arm of Volvo Group Australia, is looking for a Regional Finance Manager for the NSW region. The role covers sales financing activities and sits within the VFS Australia Sales Team, reporting to the Director of Sales and Market Development. It is a full-time position based in one of three NSW locations: Prestons, Blacktown or Newcastle.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets and business objectives, and plan and execute sales financing activities
• Review business objectives periodically and carry out business development within the VFS Australia Sales Team
• Introduce Volvo financial products and services to customers and maintain strong customer relationships
• Build working relationships with dealerships and market companies' sales teams, and develop and implement marketing activities and incentive plans in line with the National Sales & Marketing Manager and VFS Management Team
• Monitor market trends and provide monthly and periodic sales reporting
• Prepare and submit credit applications to the Credit Committee in line with Credit & Risk policies, and work with Credit & Risk to keep the application and approval process efficient and accurate
• Support collection and overdue activities, and assist with delinquency and legal action against default customers

Required profile

• Professional qualifications or equivalent working experience
• Automotive or equipment finance background
• Proven sales achievement track record
• Strong relationship-building skills with market companies, dealers and customers
• Good execution of sales strategies and sound business acumen
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
