Recruitment Consultant – Allied Health

About the role

Verus People is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to lead the new Allied Health desk. You will work within a supportive, fun team to provide contract recruitment solutions for allied health professionals across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end contract recruitment for allied health nurses and professionals, matching client staffing needs.
• Build and maintain proactive, long‑lasting relationships with candidates and client organisations.
• Develop and execute candidate acquisition strategies using direct sourcing, advertising, headhunting, referrals and networking.
• Research your healthcare niche to become a subject‑matter expert.
• Drive client and business development across public and private sectors, including existing, lapsed and prospect accounts.
• Partner with candidates and clients to understand and fulfil their requirements.
• Deliver a recruitment service that exceeds stakeholder expectations.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, results‑driven professional with a passion for healthcare recruitment.
• Proven experience in contract recruitment within healthcare, medical, nursing, aged‑care or doctor recruitment.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
