Receptionist – Dental Centre

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Receptionist to join our Bondi Junction Dental Centre. You will be the first point of contact for patients, supporting clinicians by managing appointments, handling enquiries and ensuring a smooth, welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous, prompt, and accurate responses to all patient and visitor enquiries.
• Manage appointment bookings and maintain the clinic’s scheduling system.
• Process account receivables, raise invoices and handle receipt payments.
• Ensure compliance with HCF Dental Quality Management System and all relevant policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised clinical environment.
• Support the Practice Manager and dentists in fostering teamwork and efficient clinic operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a customer‑facing receptionist role, preferably within a dental setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
• Excellent time‑management, attention to detail and teamwork mentality.
• Familiarity with various insurance plans and coverage options.

Required skills

• Experience with computerised dental systems (e.g., Dental4Windows or Oasis).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• First aid qualification (desirable).
