About the role
We are looking for an eager, self‑driven Research & Development (R&D) Consultant to join our Gold Coast team. You will work closely with entrepreneurial clients across multiple industries, helping them maximise R&D tax incentives and other government grants.
Key responsibilities
- Onboard new clients, gather relevant data from staff and existing platforms.
- Develop R&D strategies, forecasts and budgets.
- Liaise with client portfolios and maintain strong relationships.
- Educate clients and their teams on best R&D practices and procedures.
- Conduct financial and expense audits, as well as technical and theoretical research.
- Prepare applications for government grants such as the Industry Growth Program (IGP) and Export Market Development Grant (EMDG).
- Write complete R&D Tax Incentive applications.
- Assist in creating internal workflows to streamline client reporting, analytics and engagement.
Required profile
- A tertiary qualification in Commerce, Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Self‑motivated, team‑oriented and comfortable with bold ideas.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for client success.
