Quality Assurance Manager

About the role

The Quality Assurance Manager will lead the QA function at our goat meat processing plant on the Darling River. This hands‑on leadership position ensures food hygiene, product quality, and regulatory compliance while supporting a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve operational performance targets and drive efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with company, AQIS licensing, and AUS‑MEAT specifications.
• Promote workplace health and safety and uphold safe work practices.
• Lead, mentor and train QA and production staff.
• Implement and sustain the Integrated Management System (IMS) across the site.
• Oversee production hygiene, sanitation, and process monitoring to meet regulatory and customer requirements.
• Ensure product conformance to AUS‑MEAT and customer specifications.
• Uphold TFIB Quality Systems, HACCP, GMP, environmental management, and related training programs.

Required profile

• Experience in meat or food processing industry.
• Knowledge of AUS‑MEAT specification standards.
• Certificate III in Meat Processing or equivalent.
• Understanding of the Meat Hygiene Assessment framework.
