Quality Assurance Advisor

About the role

The Quality Assurance Advisor will support Orora’s Rocklea can‑manufacturing plant, ensuring that products meet the highest quality and food‑safety standards. Working alongside the production team, you will drive audit activities, oversee quality‑control processes and lead continuous‑improvement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the site’s Quality and Food Safety systems, including HACCP and related certifications.
• Plan, conduct and follow‑up internal and external audits, resolving findings promptly.
• Implement and monitor site process and quality‑control plans.
• Oversee plant‑wide quality activities such as inspection systems and process‑control documentation.
• Lead improvement projects aimed at boosting product quality and production efficiency.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree with relevant experience in quality assurance.
• Previous QA/QC experience, including audit execution.
• Strong understanding of fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) environments.
• Proactive, eager to learn and able to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
