About the role

WynActive is looking for qualified swim teachers to join its team and help build lifelong confidence in the water through its Learn to Swim program. The role reports to the WynSwim Coordinators and delivers high-quality swimming education to individuals and school groups. It suits people wanting flexible hours and days, including those returning to the workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and teach high-quality swimming education to individuals and school groups
• Create a safe and supportive environment that encourages learning and skill development
• Use innovative teaching methods to make lessons exciting and enjoyable
• Provide constructive feedback and encouragement

Required profile

• Teacher Swimming and Water Safety Licence
• Current CPR certificate
• Fit to Work (police check); cost covered for successful applicants
• Working with Children's Check (employee)
• Energetic, outgoing and fun, with a flair for working with people and excellent customer service
• A passion for swimming and keeping everyone safe around the water
