QC Technician – Sample Management

About the role

Join CSL Behring at the Broadmeadows site as a QC Technician within the Sample Management team. You will coordinate and manage samples for Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Chemistry testing, ensuring activities comply with GMP, approved methods, and laboratory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine QC testing, assay execution, and support daily laboratory operations.
• Manage laboratory housekeeping, inventory, stocktakes, ordering of materials and reagents, and monitor in‑house standards and controls.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment according to approved procedures.
• Complete, review, verify, enter, file and archive laboratory records, including LIMS entries and batch records.
• Coordinate sample distribution within QC, external testing, and associated record management.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant scientific discipline.
• Ability to follow laboratory test procedures and work effectively in a LEAN laboratory environment.
• Knowledge of GMP, GLP and experience with Windows‑based software applications.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
