Transport Coordinator – Nightshift

About the role

Centurion is looking for a reliable Transport Coordinator to manage overnight operations. The role ensures smooth coordination of drivers and fleet movements, maintains service reliability, and provides a seamless handover to the day team.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate night‑shift transport operations and ensure timely departure of drivers and trailers.
• Assist the Transport Operations team in delivering trailers efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of movements, scheduling, and tracking information.
• Provide a comprehensive handover to the dayshift to guarantee continuity.
• Work on a 7‑night on, 7‑night off roster (6 pm – 6 am, Wednesday to Tuesday).

Required profile

• Previous experience in a transport or logistics coordination role.
• Familiarity with Transport Management Systems (TMS) is desirable.
• Understanding of tracking and processing systems and scheduling procedures.
• Strong communication, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
