Public Relations Manager

About the role

Publicis Groupe is seeking a Public Relations Manager to lead communications for Publicis Sapient, its technology hub in Australia. You will shape the PR agenda, elevate the brand’s profile and translate complex technology topics into compelling market stories.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Australian PR strategy aligned with global priorities and business goals.
• Build an editorial engine linking market opportunities, campaigns and business objectives.
• Lead local social media strategy, content planning and channel performance.
• Partner with senior leaders and technical experts to craft narratives around AI, digital transformation and customer experience.
• Establish and nurture relationships with journalists, editors, producers and industry commentators.
• Drive executive profiling through thought‑leadership, speaking engagements, media interviews and awards.
• Localise global campaigns for Australian audiences and measure impact through coverage and brand outcomes.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, media relations or journalism.
• Strong understanding of the Australian media landscape and established relationships with technology, business or industry media.
• Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling ability to simplify complex topics.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and preparing executives for media engagement.
• Commercial mindset linking communications outcomes to organisational growth.
• Comfort navigating a global, matrixed environment while maintaining local relevance.
