Public Relations Intern (Unpaid)

About the role

Christian Dior Australia & New Zealand is offering an unpaid Public Relations internship within its Communications team. This role is designed for a motivated university student to gain practical experience in luxury brand communications, media relations and digital media functions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the sample inventory process, including preparation, documentation, showroom presentation, stocktakes, and maintenance (steaming, repairs, dry cleaning).
• Support press coverage consolidation, data extraction for credit requests, and filing of print magazines and clippings.
• Provide social media support by analysing the Australian talent market and preparing dressing request forms.
• Contribute to general communications tasks, ad‑hoc projects and logistical coordination with retail, logistics and merchandising teams.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Marketing, Communications or a related field at an Australian or New Zealand university/college.
• Strong academic record and basic understanding of public‑relations principles.
• High attention to detail, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, able to work independently and within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
